At Solid Rock Farms, we have been trying to find a closing system that would seal our trench in all of the ground conditions we plant in. ON OUR FARM
In our farming operation, we experiment with a variety of tillage practices: a little cover crop, a little no-till, and a little conventional till. We wanted a closing wheel that would perform well in any condition so that we wouldn’t have to change wheels around in season. We set up our planter with as many different combinations of Single Stage closing wheels as we could, and at the end of the year, we liked the dual Furrow Cruisers the best.
